Ipod in Endeavour

A TUAW reader has managed to spot an iPod onboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour, which is currently floating around in a giant vacuum. The hawk-eyed reader spotted the iPod from official NASA photos, which showed the device, barely visible, through a cabin window.

Interestingly, iPods cannot be taken into space willy-nilly. In fact, the usual lithium battery must be replaced with specially designed alkaline alternatives to ensure safety standards are met.

May be the austronauts are trying to test the performance of an ipod at that pressures or there is one ipod lover who just can't abandon his gadget. He might be interested in taking the ipod with him rather than leaving it in his home. But this pic is gonna bring more mileage to ipod anyway. phew

Funny Windows

What the heck man, do I need to remember this so called password. It's crazy.

Hey where's all the remaining 694% of my battery. It never shows more than 100%.

Very Rare Occasion

Yeah! It was a very rare occasion yesterday when titans from different fields were together for the launch of SuperStar Rajni's latest venture Kucheludu. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. ChandraBabu Naidu, former CM, MegaStar Chiranjeevi, Union Minister D. Narayana Rao, Venkatesh, JagapathiBabu, Ram Charan Tej and the latest controversy aided hero Rajashekar.

It was a surprise to see the humbleness of Chiranjeevi to attend the function amidst the presence of people who are rumoured to hamper his image in one or the other way. A special mention here goes to Mr. Naidu. He is fully aware that Chiru might launch his political party anytime, but still he prefered to praise him rather than just ignore him. It was really a kind gesture from him.

Ipod Shuffle Diamond for charity

Ipod Shuffle Diamond!! Don't misinterpret it as a new model from Apple. It's just another shuffle but this time it's for good cause aka charity. A jeweler named Thomas Heyerdahl has created an 18 karat, diamond studded, white and pink gold iPod shuffle, meant to be auctioned at a charity in London.

And you thought shuffle is just for listening to your favorite music. If you feel that money is not a big matter for you, why don't you just go out there and give this shuffle a try. Your every penny counts, especially when it is for charity.

San Francisco 2108 A.D. hmmm interesting

I was just going through my feeds and found one interesting pick. It was about how San Francisco would be after 100 years from now. It was some sort of a contest for best designs or actually imaginations and halucinations. Thought to share with you.

The History Channel sponsored a City of the Future contest for architects to show us their vision of utopian metropolises from 2108, and the winner for the San Francisco version was IwamotoScott Architecture, conjuring up these wild hallucinations of a city run by geothermal power and tapping water from the city’s ubiquitous fog.

Advertising at its Height....

The McDonalds, man they are everywhere and most rightly placed, on the tummy.

But I fail to locate Google, can someone assist me...

Baby in a diaper ===> Nude WTH

Photobucket is removing photos of babies in diapers from the site, saying they violate the terms of service because they depict "nudity." Oh man what the hell are they upto now. Does they know the real meaning of nudity.

This photo of a happy, diaper-sporting baby was one of hundreds of such images deleted from Photobucket because they depict nudity.(Credit: Good Mama Diapers) For more details regarding this hilarious oops nonsensical issue just go there.

Babies, as the saying goes are next to God. But Photobucket feels otherwise. Can somebody inject some sense into their freakish minds. How can someone just remove the photos of babies by giving the excuse of nudity and hosting tons of photos of nude models. Grow up Man.....

$5 Bill Redesigned

The U.S. Treasury Department on Thursday began circulating a redesigned $5 bill. The first transaction was at a gift shop near President Lincoln's summer cottage overlooking Washington.

The $5 note has Abraham Lincoln's image on the front as usual, plus security features to discourage counterfeiting. The recently renovated cottage was selected as the backdrop for the unveiling of the new bill because Lincoln's image remains on the front.

Anti-counterfeiting measures are the main reason the United States has been making changes in currency. It started in 1996 with the $100 bill, followed by a new $20 bill in 2003. The $50 bill got an overhaul in 2004, and the $10 was redesigned in 2006.

Relish Youtube with high quality videos

you can watch YouTube high quality videos by default. When you’re logged in to your YouTube account, click “Account”. Then under the “Account Section” look for “Video Playback Quality.” Click that and then this is what you’ll see:

Select the 3rd option which says, I have a fast connection and then click on save settings. Hamma, you can now view the videos in Youtube with the best available quality. If it seems to be loading slow, they do include the link to go back to the lower quality video.

Note:: This tip is strictly for the broad band guys with 512 kbps or more speed..

Enthralling Trivia-8

I got a nasty thought after writing this. If an octopus gets a heart attack, which heart feels the pain. Oh my nasty mind...

The first MP3 player celebrates its 10th birthday!!!

The MPMan F10-world's first MP3 player. Manufactured by Korea's Saehan Information Systems, the device was launched in March of 1998 at CeBIT, and went on sale in the Summer through Eiger Labs for $250. The player featured 32MB of flash memory (which could be upgraded to 64MB via mail-in scheme), connected to PCs via parallel port, and had a miniscule LCD for playback info.

I found this article in engadget's website. It is nice of them to remind us of the glorious past along with their much hyped futuristic gadgets. Hail engadget!!!

Check Your Password Strength....

There is this tool on the Microsoft website which helps you in checking out the strength of your passwords. It is called the Password Checker. I checked my regular password and it is one of the weakest. My other password which I use for financial purposes was strong enough though. It is a nice little tool to help you judge for yourself.

Password Checker does not collect, store, or transmit information beyond the computer that you use to access Password Checker. The image works on your computer desktop until you navigate away from the page.

They have a suggestion for a strong password too::

A strong password should appear to be a random string of characters to an attacker. It should be 14 characters or longer, (eight characters or longer at a minimum). It should include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Extreme Concept Cars....

This one is one hell of a concept car, which needs a perfect concept driver, I guess. There are a lot other concept cars that were showcased in Geneva salon, Switzerland. The annual gathering throws a spotlight on some of the most innovative concept cars you’ll ever see.

While Switzerland is a neutral country and has no indigenous automaker of its own, independent design houses the world over have adopted the Geneva salon as their “home” show. It’s not just design houses that show their cars at shows, but also manufacturers.

The car above is Giugiaro Quaranta. The idea was to create an extreme, but ecological, four-wheel drive supercar. Quaranta is Italian for 40 and the name of this innovative concept car from ItalDesign Giugiaro, which was built to commemorate Giorgetto Giugiaro’s 40th year of auto design.

A Very Rare Pic...

Hey that's nation's heartthrob Hrithik on his birthday(I don't know which bday) with his actor, director father Papa Roshan. I thought it would be nice to share with you .....
