Where's the tax money...

Every nation, every state and every district collects tax from their residents. How do they collect, I mean in which way? In every possible way is my answer. From the purchases you make to the items you sell. From the salary you earn to the money you pay to daily labor. From the transport you take to work to the gas you fill in your vehicle. In every financial matter you are involved in, you are paying tax in some form or other. But where is all this going.

Tax is defined by some intelligent guy as "Enforced charge extracted of persons, corporations and organizations by the government to be used to support government services and programs". But how good is it working when it comes to helping the public when they are in real need. I say literally very little help. The tax was introduced to help the government to help the people who are paying it.

But with the big-heads involved, by big-heads I mean corporate gaints, the tax money is going into the pockets of a few rich guys, who by any reason doesn't need that. The involvment of corporate heads in the government, or more like the corporate people controlling the proceedings of the government have led to this mis-use of tax money. This should be stopped but who will take the initiative.

I say the tax-payers should take the initiative, when their hard earned pennies are collected in the form of tax till they dry up paying all the taxes, why shouln't they have the right to know where their taxes are going. The tax-payers should ask the government the reason for paying the corporates so much money that they really not deserve. They should ask the government why the money is not being spent on basic amenities like food, water and shelter.

This change cannot be achieved in a day but still it will work perfectly. When the governing body becomes answerable then the fraud gets to it's knees, the money will be spent in the right way and even in the recession periods there will not be any problem to the common public. Just think about it. As some elderly said, "If I can change the thought of a single man by my writings in a positive way, that would bring me satisfaction, as if I ate a Chicken Biryani with Mutton Kurma", Just Kiddin...
